Here's a little about Anya.
Anya Crane is West Coast Swing dancer, competing at the All-Star level and DJing around the US at an average of 15 cites a year. She focuses heavily on the theory behind West Coast Swing, always looking to answer the “why” with something more than “because I said so.”
With a background studying and teaching American Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, Anya found ballroom and then West Coast Swing in a whirlwind adventure encompassing the last 6 years. She has studied Blues, Lindy Hop and Argentine Tango and always looks to find places for the elements of each dance within her West Coast Swing.
Her focus is finding the concepts that make each dancer unique and using those elements within the structure of West Coast Swing. Everyone brings a flavor to their dance, Anya looks to help make those details add sparkle to a solid foundation.
